So much blood.

So, we watched the Passion of the Christ tonight out on the soccer field.  One of the most powerful movies I've ever seen.  It was my first time watching it, and I couldn't stop thinking about what He did for me, how much He gave.  And think about it, Jesus suffered and died willingly for us because He loves you and me.  Truly there is no greater love than this.

  1. So intense. It's uncomprehendable to me that He would do that for us! The Creator of the Universe died in shame for us... that love astounds me every time I think about it.

  2. I saw that movie in a theater. I wanted to sit by myself - not with grandpa - just so I wouldn't have to talk to anyone. I wept and wanted to stand up and say "I'm so sorry!!" No way for us to understand his love for us - even when we're unloveable.
So good to hear from you, Grandma K.

  3. I also saw it in the theater. I felt so terrible and grateful at the same time. I felt like I needed to be scraped up out of my seat and thrown out. It is the most bloody movie I had ever seen. But the blood in this movie communicated in a way that no other movie could.
